Environmental microbiology course builds on the academic successfull results, which includes a comprehensive and up-to-date discussion of environmental microbiology as a discipline that has grown in scope and interest in recent years. The course is designed to meet the diverse requirements of graduate students with different science background. The traditional cultural methods of new approaches to enhanced cultivation of environmental bacteria and nucleic acid -based methods such as PCR associated technics are introduced. The course has taken the care to highlight links between environmental microbiology and practical topics to our environmental protection such as the treatments of wastewater, solid wastes and environmental friendly biotechnology.
