Course Description:
This 20 hour course aims to enhance student’s ability of how to make connections between the knowledge of laboratorial analysis and the real-world environmental monitoring projects. The course will be a mixture of lecture, group discussion and presentation which focus on the pollution episodes. Every student will have at least one presentation to express his/her design, application, implementation and budget making of a selected environmental monitoring project performed by a group. By the end of course, students will gain advanced understanding of the application of modern analytical methods on environmental analysis processes, as well as the effectiveness of presentation, applicability of proposal, etc. Students will be assessed by five scoring of proposal debates by the audience and a judging panel by the end of this course.
